 New Delhi: Toyota Land Cruiser is one such SUV which is very much liked all over the world. The company launched its current generation in June 2021, which has received such a strong response from customers that the company would never have expected it. The situation is that long variants are being given to the customers on Toyota's new Land Cruiser, here long does not mean 6-8 months. Toyota said on its product site that if you book a new Land Cruiser now, you will get its delivery after 4 years.

The company has stopped the sale of this SUV in the US market, so only the Middle East is left from where the company will be getting such demand. If a report is to be believed, then the main reason for such long waiting with demand is the interruption in the supply chain. Toyota is not getting enough supply of SUV parts, especially semiconductor chips. It has also been told in this report that the waiting period of 4 years is available on select variants of the SUV, not all variants. The company started booking for the new generation Land Cruiser in Japan on 2 August 2021.

This SUV is strong in power

The new generation Land Cruiser is offered with two engine options which include a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol and a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine. Out of these, the petrol engine generates 409 Bhp power and 650 Nm peak torque, while the diesel engine makes 304.5 Bhp power and 700 Nm peak torque. Both these engine options are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Features and launch information in India

Many other features have been provided with the SUV like 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, heated and ventilated seats, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging and adaptive cruise control. Now you must be wondering whether it will be launched in India or not, then let us tell you that the new generation Land Cruiser will also be sold in India and after this the company has already told. Its estimated ex-showroom price is between Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 1.8 crore. The SUV will be sold completely imported in India.
